Terms and Conditions

Conditions of Sale: HiBid buyer's premium is 20%. NOTICE - EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY! Invoices will be sent by the next day after the auction is over. Invoice WILL NOT include shipping as each winning bidder's lots are custom packed. Shipping charges will be added in the days following the auction. Buyer's credit cards will be charged within 4-5 days after the auction regardless. It may be neccesary to pay for shipping separately. Freeman Yoder Auctions will NOT accept payment over the telephone by credit card for lots purchased containing coins, bullion or jewelry. We will accept personal and business checks, cashier's check, bank wire transfers ONLY. Customers may pay with a credit card if paying though the online bidding platform. If bidder is paying by check or wire, we reserve the right to hold all purchases until the check has cleared our bank. If paying by wire, please add a $25.00 wire transfer fee. For other purchases, we only accept credit cards with US billing addresses. If paid via credit card, the items can only be shipped to the billing address of the card. If paying by wire or check, lots can be shipped anywhere. All credit card purchases are subject to specific fees depending upon where utilized. Online card purchases through AuctionZip, HiBid and LiveAuctioneers are subject to the particular platform's credit card terms and fees. When calling on the telephone to our office with a card number, that purchase will incur a 4% fee on top of the total. SHIPPING We have in-house shipping and generally use UPS and USPS. We charge for boxes, packing material and time. If a package exceeds 70lbs or is too large for either carrier to pick up, freight services are required. Estimates for freight can take time to acquire and can be costly. If items are marked PICK UP ONLY, NO SHIPPING, do not bid unless planning on picking up. Bidders must be registered with internet auction platform of choice (AuctionZip, Hi-Bid, LiveAuctioneers) or in-person at our Auction Center. No bidder may retract a bid that has been submitted online. We cannot cancel anyone's bids that are placed on LiveAuctioneers, HiBid or AuctionZip. Each bidder is responsible for all bids transmitted from such Registered Bidder's computer or from such Registered Bidder's account for the Online Auction Platform. If a winning bid is sent from the computer of a Registered Bidder, or from a Registered Bidder's account for the Online Auction Platform, such Registered Bidder will be the Buyer, unless the same bid has been taken by the auctioneer from the floor. Floor bids take precedence over internet bids. Firearms will only be shipped to the address of a current Federal Firearms LIcense (FFL) holder as well as ammunition in some states. Do not bid on any firearms if this is a problem for you. Through AuctionZip, Credit card payments for firearms, ammunition, weapons and whatever else AuctionZip will not process payments for must be made over the telephone or check by mail. We are set up to take online payments for such items through LiveAuctioneers and HiBid.

While we try to include shipping charges with the initial invoice this is not always possible. If items require specialty packaging, such as firearms or have extra large dimensions a second invoice will be issued to cover the shipping rate and associated costs (ie. boxes/time/material). All Lots and shipping must be paid for in-full within three (3) days business days after receipt of the specific invoice. Purchases must be paid by credit card or approved check; provided, however, that purchases in excess of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) must be paid by wire transfer or certified funds unless other arrangements are made with Auctioneer in Auctioneer's sole and absolute discretion. Winning Bidder credit cards on file may be charged four (4) days after an invoice has been sent to the Winning Bidder.

Shipping / Pick Up

PICKUP INFO: Winning bidders may pick up their items at our Auction Center starting on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Our office hours are 9am to 4pm. Please call or email if you require a special time and we will make it work. Shipping is available in house. We start with a base fee of $10.00 per shipment, add on cost of boxes and packing material then we get a quote from either USPS or UPS for best way shipping with appropriate insurance. We will combine items if possible. For example, a rifle...$10.00 + $8.00 (box) + $22.00 (packing) + $37.50 (UPS ground w/insurance) = $77.50. Charges will vary depending upon location, weight, size, insurance, etc... It may take us a little time to issue a shipping invoice depending upon demand. If a package exceeds 70lbs or is too large for either carrier to pick up, freight services are required. Estimates for freight can take time to acquire and can be costly.
