1. Online bidding starts on Wednesday May 8th at 7:00PM and ends Wednesday May 22nd, 2024, beginning at 7:00PM EST for the first lot using a soft close process every minute. Bidding will be extended on any lot if there is a bid within the last minute. 2. Items can be previewed at the consignor's location in Ligonier, PA by appointment only. Please contact the auctioneer on 412 877 0579. 3. Note that some lots may have modest reserves at the request of the consignor(s). This is indicated in the catalog for lots with reserves showing reserve not met in red font. When the reserve has been met, this will go away, and the bid amount will be highlighted in green. 4. Winning bids will receive an invoice after the close of the auction with lots that they have won. If the reserve has been met the invoice will also include those lots. If the invoice does not include lots that had reserves, then the reserve was not met. This is why at the end of the auction HiBid only states you may have won this lot. 5. There is a 13 % buyer's premium for winning bids 6. Payment is due at the time of pick up on Saturday May 25th, 2024, from 10:00AM to 5:00PM or if shipping is required, we will process your invoice using the credit card on file and then contact you after pickup day to discuss payment for shipping. Invoices totaling more than $500 will need payment via wire transfer unless the buyer is known to the Auctioneer. Credit cards, wire transfer and cash are accepted. Cards accepted include MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. 7. Due to limited parking pickup, will be scheduled using a scheduling App. Winning bidders' invoice will contain a link to this App for sign up. 8. Shipping is offered on a few small items only in this auction. There will be a handling charge for shipping plus the actual cost of shipping. Insurance will be required for all packages over $100. Shipping outside of the USA will incur additional fees as necessary. Please check with the auctioneer if you have questions. 9. A 3% Fee will be charged for CC users. 5% for American Express. 10. No Sales tax for this single consignor auction. 11. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE ABLE TO PICK UP DURING PICK UP TIMES AND DAY PRIOR TO BIDDING 12. WE ARE UNABLE TO HOLD ANY ITEMS AFTER THESE PICK-UP TIMES AS THE HOUSE IS SOLD AND ALL ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED. 13. Any items left after this time are forfeited and your credit card may be charged 14. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BOXES AND WRAPPING MATERIALS. 15. We have limited ability to help load heavier items so please ensure you bring help with these items. 16. All items are offered and sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. 17. HIT Auctions LLC reserve the right to reject any bid and/or bidder at our sole discretion. 18. By bidding in this auction, you are agreeing to all the terms posted for this auction. 19. Declined credit cards can result in a buyer being banned from participating in future auctions. 20. This is an online auction and not a retail setting. All sales are final. No returns or charge backs are accepted. 21. Purchaser enters the property at their own risk and liability and holds HIT Auctions LLC harmless for any damage to goods during removal. The purchaser also holds HIT Auctions LLC harmless and free of any liability whatsoever for any injury or claims of any kind by any person that may arise during the previews and/or removal of any item or while on the premises. 22. The Seller, or any of the Seller's agents or employees, or HIT Auctions LLC or any of its agents or employees, shall not be liable to the Buyer or to Buyer's agents, employees, contractors, or any other persons or entities acting on their behalf in connection with such removal of the Property, for any loss, damage, personal injury or death, of any kind or character to them arising either from the use of the property of the Seller pursuant to the License granted herein, or caused by any alleged defect or condition in any building, structure, equipment or facility, or any condition on the land of the Seller, any of which are alleged to be the cause of or contributing to the aforementioned loss, damage or personal injury or death. In addition, the Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Seller and HIT Auctions LLC and their respective agents, servants and employees of and from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expenses, personal injury or death of any person or persons arising out of or relating to the removal of the above-described Property.
