AUCTION TERMS & CONDITIONS All of our items are sold "AS IS - WHERE IS" with no guarantees expressed or implied of any kind. Announcements made day of sale take precedence over written material. Online bidding taking place now and during the live auction. Live auction begins at 10am (Central) on Saturday, July 13th, and items will close at the pace of the LIVE auction. By bidding, you are agreeing that you have read and accept all of our terms and conditions expressed and implied, and are entering a legal and binding contract. You must be 18 years of age or older to bid in this auction. As of January 1st, 2022, all bidders will be individually approved by Knowles Auction Service before being able to bid. Approval for bidding will be at the discretion of Knowles Auction Service based on past bidding history and ratings from other auction companies among other things. We will only be approving bidders up to the time the first item in the auction closes. As in all of our auctions, auction personnel will be allowed to bid and pay for their purchases. Keep in mind, all of the items in our auctions are in used condition unless otherwise stated. We have described these items to the best of our ability. Expect some wear, scratches, dents, dings, and damage that cannot be seen in our pictures, so BUYER BEWARE and use your best judgement. All measurements listed are approximate. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. As of September 1st, 2021 we no longer have to charge Sales Tax. Payments will be made to Knowles Auction Service. We will accept payment through VISA, Mastercard, cash, and personal checks. Checks will be ran through our check guarantee machine before items can be removed from the sale location. PayPal is not an accepted form of payment PERIOD. All purchases of $200 or more will require payment through Cash, Check (subject to check clearing), or Postal Money Order. The Bidder grants Knowles Auction Service a standing authorization to charge the Bidder's credit card for any and all costs, fees, buyer's premiums and storage disposal fees, as well as for any other costs, charges, and/or fees incurred. **All transfers to be handled by John Hammond of John's Guns.** Transfer Fees For Individuals: Hand Guns - $20/each Long Guns - $20 for the 1st long gun and $10 for each one after that Transfer Fees For Dealers: $10/each gun To purchase firearms from our auction you must: 1. Live in the state of Illinois and have a valid FOID card, or 2. Out of state residents must have a valid I.D. and must provide a valid Federal Firearms License to transfer all purchases to. 3. All bidders must be legally allowed to own and possess firearms. Illinois residents wishing to purchase ammunition must now must provide their FOID card to be checked through the Illinois State Police website before they can pick up or remove ammunition from our premisis. AMMUNITION CAN NOT BE SHIPPED & IS PICK UP ONLY! You must be 18 years of age to purchase a long gun and 21 years of age to purchase a hand gun. It is illegal to carry firearms across the state line without an FFL, so be prepared to pay for shipment and transfer of firearms purchased. The bidder must be the actual transferee/buyer of the specific firearm for which a bid is placed. No straw purchasing! ALL FIREARMS & PARTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO BE IN SAFE WORKING ORDER! ALL FIREARMS PURCHASED SHOULD BE TAKEN TO A LICENSED GUN SMITH BEFORE FIRING!! To complete all necessary paperwork for transfer, Knowles Auction Service and John's Guns will need a copy of your FOID card or FFL and State I.D. within 48 hours of the auction's end. For out of sate buyers requiring shipping: Firearms that are being shipped must be paid for with a mailed in payment. Mailed in payments can be personal check/business check/ cashiers check/ postal money order. There is a 10 day hold on all mailed in payments. Credit card payments will not be accepted for firearms that are shipped. Include a copy of the FFL License that you want us to ship your guns to along with your payment if mailing. ALL AMMUNITION, PRIMERS, & POWDER are PICK UP ONLY!!! You must show a valid FOID (to be checked through the ISP website for ammo) or out of state I.D. and be 18 years or older to purchase and pick up these items. If you require shipping, let us know as soon as possible. Payment for purchases will be required before quoting of shipping can begin. Once we have shipping and handling costs figured, we will charge your card for shipping and handling. Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable. Please expect a handling fee of at least $5/box on all shipments. Shipping cost will be based on actual costs through USPS, UPS, & FedEx. All packages will be shipped with insurance. All items will ship 7 to 14 business days after payment is recieved. Online purchases can be picked up: Monday, July 15th 9am to 6pm Central Or By Appointment Knowles Auction Building 1305 N. Michigan Ave. Marshall, IL 62441 THIS IS THE ONLY PICK UP DATE & TIME. If you do not pick up your items during this time, your card will be charged for your purchases and you will forfeit your items. NO EXCEPTIONS The highest bidder shall be the buyer and if any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneer will decide the buyer or immediately put the item back up for sale again. The record of sale, kept by the auctioneer and clerk, will be taken as absolute and final in all disputes. Knowles Auction Service reserves the right to end, stop, or cancel the auction at any time if necessary. Knowles Auction Service and its employees are not responsible for accidents. Seller and Auctioneer cannot, and will not, be held responsible for any interruption in service, errors, and/or omissions, caused by any means, therefore they cannot guarantee continual, uninterrupted or error free service as the website could be interfered with by means out of their control.
